Fruit Shrikhand, Healthy Diabetic Recipe
Fruit Shrikhand is an Indian sweet dish made of strained yogurt and is served chilled. This recipe is a healthy version of traditional shrikhand recipe and is diabetic friendly too.

Ingredients-
- Low fat hung curd- 1 cup
- Low fat milk- 1 tbsp (Warm)
- Mixed fruits- 1 1/2 cup (Chopped)
- Sugar free- 2 tbsp
- Cardamom/elaichi powder- 1/4 tsp
- Saffron (kesar) strands- few
- Dry fruits, chopped- 1/2 cup (optional)
Method-
- In a bowl, take 1 tbsp warm milk add saffron strands in it and mix well till the saffron dissolves.
- Add hung curd, sugar free and cardamom powder to the saffron-milk mixture and mix well using a whisk.
- Add mixed fruits and dry fruits to Shrikhand. Mix well.
- Refrigerate it for 1.5 hour.
- Garnish with fresh fruits before serving. Serve chilled.
Note:
* Curd should not be sour.
* You can also make Low fat curd at home by using low fat milk.
