Garlic Bread in Pressure Cooker Recipe | Home-made Stuffed Garlic Bread Recipe | Quick and Easy Garlic Bread Recipe

Hi foodies, today I am sharing the recipe of Home-made Stuffed Garlic breadsticks which can be prepared easily even if you do not have oven. The garlic bread made from this recipe is very soft and tastes much better than the restaurant version. Let's jump straight into the recipe now. 😀

Ingredients-

  • All purpose flour/Maida- 1 1/4 cup
  • Instant Yeast- 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar- 1tsp
  • Garlic (chopped) - 2 tsp
  • Salt- to taste
  • Oil- 2 tsp
  • Oregano- 2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes- 1/2 tsp

For filling-

  • Mayonnaise- 2 tsp
  • Corn- 3 to 4 tsp
  • Cottage Cheese (Paneer)- 60 gms (Cut in small cubes) 
  • Mozarella Cheese- 1/2 cup (Granted)
  • Butter for Greasing
  • Turmeric-2 pinch

Method-

Stuffing

  1. Take a bowl, add mayonnaise, paneer cubes along with boiled corn, Chilli flakes and Grated garlic. Add some salt, turmeric in it. Set it aside for 10 mins. 

For Dough-

  1. Add yeast and Sugar to 1/2 cup water and keep it aside for 10 mins.
  2. In a bowl add all purpose flour (Maida), yeast solution, oil, salt. Start kneading the dough by adding luke warm water into it. Knead it well for atleast 10 mins to make a soft dough.
  3. Transfer the dough into a greased pan and cover it up with a muslin cloth or a strainer, let it prove for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. After an hour, take our the dough on a flour dusted surface and punch it 3-4 times to release the air.
  5. Roll the dough into a circular shape with thickness of 1/4 inch.
  6. Apply butter on one side of the circled dough and spread the prepared filling on it (in a semi circle), add grated mozarella cheese and oregano.
  7. Apply water on the edges of the circle, flip from one side to make a semi circle and seal the corners.
  8. Grease the dough (top) with generous amount of butter.
  9. Sprinkle oregano and Chilli flakes on the top. Make slits on the bread with a knife (do not cut the bread just make soft slits).
  10. Transfer the bread to a well greased baking tin/cake tin (or a strainer).
  11. Spread salt in cooker (make sure to completely cover the base of the Cooker with salt) place a bowl or a stand in the cooker. Cover the lid and pre-heat it for 10-15 minutes. (Remove the whistle and rubber).
  12. Once the Cooker is pre-heated place the cake tin/strainer/Baking tin with bread dough on the stand. Cover the lid and let it cook for 15-20 mins on a medium-low flame.
  13. Once done take it out from the Cooker, cut it and serve it immediately.

Notes:

*Garlic Bread tastes best with cheesy dip.
*You can improve the stuffing as per your taste.
*If initially the dough is sticky. Dust some dry flour on kitchen table, take out the dough and knead it on the dusted surface for 10 mins.
