- 250gms semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup water, divided in 2 equal portions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/4 cups (around 372gms) whipped cream
Method-
- In a double boiler, heat chocolate with 1/4 cup water and butter until they are melted. Cool for 10 minutes.
- In a heavy pan, add egg yolks, sugar, remaining water and whisk them.
- Cook and stir the egg yolks mixture over low heat for about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, add the chocolate mixture and whisk it.
- Take a separate bowl put ice-cubes in it.
- Keep the pan on top of ice bowl and stir until cooled, for about 5-10 minutes.
- Add whipped cream to the mixture once it is cooled and fold it.
- Put the mixture into serving bowls and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy😉
