Ingredients-

* 4 bananas peeled and sliced (cut the bananas in half horizontally so that you will be having 2 equal portions of it).

* Peanut butter (if you are not a big fan of peanut butter you can avoid it and use nutella)

* 1 package of semi-sweet Baking chocolate (you can use normal chocolate as well but those chocolates are very sweet so if you want to cut the amount of sweetness a lil bit go search Baking chocolates on bigbasket or grofers)

* 1/2 cup of candy sprinkle (you can also use colored sweet sauf, Cadbury gems, almonds, chopped peanuts, pistachios or tutty fruity).

* 8 ice cream sticks(you can get these easily from stationary)

Method-

  1. Insert 1 ice cream stick into the cut end of each banana (in a way that half of the stick should be inside and the other half should be outside do not insert the whole stick into the bananas).
  2. Cover a tray with butter paper/wax paper, place all the bananas on top of it and freeze until the bananas are frozen through, it will take around 2 hours.
  3. Remove the frozen bananas from freezer and spread a layer of peanut butter/nutella on each banana. Again place them back in the freezer for 40 to 45 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate on top of a double boiled over gently shimmering water, stirring frequently and scrapping down the sides with a spatula or spoon to avoid scorching.
  5. Dip each frozen banana in the melted chocolate, use a spoon to cover the banana completely. Immediately roll the dipped bananas in candy sprinkles/or whatever you are using and place the bananas on the tray covered with butter/wax paper, freeze until the chocolate is firm, takes around 1-2 hours.

Tip-

* for double boiler take a pan or pot put a cup of water in it bring the water to a gentle simmer place a heat proof bowl or a steel bowl on top of it add the chopped chocolate to the bowl and stir it with a spoon or spatula make sure that the chocolate doesn't stick to the base of the bowl.
* you can also use strawberries in the place of bananas.
